IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL HOLIDAY HOME OWNERS:


Plans to re open Longmeadows holiday park safely.


9th March update:

We have now had confirmation that day visits will be allowed to holiday homes in England for the purposes of cleaning,preparing and collecting goods, from March 30th. Only one family will be allowed per visit. No overnight stays will be allowed until 12th April. Please be advised that covid restrictions must be followed on holiday parks and in all areas of the country.

Please ensure you call ahead to book in. Track and trace is still essential as lockdown eases.



As set out by the government, the following rules are now in place and we look forward to welcoming our holiday home owners back safely.

Please ensure you follow social distancing rules at all times and wear your PPE or face coverings
where required. This is for the safety of you and everyone else, and the assurance that further lockdowns will not follow.

We will be maintaining our telephone gas order and bill payment system to ensure minimum contact and help safety levels in the office and on the park.

At Step 2, no earlier than 12 April:

‘Overnight stays away from home in this country will be permitted and self-contained accommodation - those that do not require shared use of bathing, entry/exit, catering or sleeping facilities - can also reopen, though must only be used by members of the same household.’ (paragraph 110)

That definition of self-contained accommodation needs careful review, but it would appear most accommodation on holiday parks and campsites would be able to meet the requirements, with the exception of any accommodation where use of the shared wash block is required.

This comes with the reminder that ‘The Government will continue to enforce restrictions and require businesses to demonstrate robust strategies for managing the risk
of transmission and to ensure social distancing…’ and ‘will be accompanied by mitigations including workforce testing and continued social distancing

guidance’ (paragraphs 113 and 114).

We will notify you on this website of any changes in Covid restrictions relating to this holiday park, but we must ask that you do not travel to your holiday home presently for any reason.


When you are able to travel again, and restrictions are eased, please follow these instructions:

General Safety against Covid 19:


Following the closures other rules may apply - keep watching the Government guidelines on the news.


If you are unsure, please check the government statement for your area and please check with us BEFORE travelling.


If you have recently returned from a foreign holiday in Spain or any other affected country, you may not use your holiday home to quarantine, you must use your designated quarantine centre or hotel. You may be checked upon, at home, by the quarantine safety officials.

The following procedures have been introduced on Longmeadows, to lower the risk of exposure to infection:

Please minimise physical visits to the site office. Only one person will be allowed in the
reception area at any time. If you need to visit reception, Please stand behind screens and floor lines unless instructed otherwise and use your face mask when entering the reception area. Please use the hand sanitiser provided.

As per government guidelines we have to abide by the Track and Trace system, we therefore need to know when you are visiting/staying/leaving your Holiday Home and the contact details of any other family or friends that may visit you. Please advise us by telephone or email (not facebook) in advance before accessing the Park so details can be logged. 

Use the QR code on the reception area entrance door if possible.  


Please be assured that any information provided will not be shared with any third party and will only be used for

Covid-19 track and trace purposes, as in accordance with GDPR regulations. All records are destroyed after 21 days.

Guy helped with the full process from design to siting and beyond, dealing with the manufacturers at regular intervals to ensure our lodge was right for us. We ordered a new balcony to our own requirements with a ramp for my husband's needs. We have now taken possession and are happy with the end result and didn't pay the earth. Our brand new lodge is on a brand new plot with a brick set parking bay. We have all we need on Longmeadows and the park fees are extremely low for this type of development, much less than Withernsea Sands, next door."
